Shannon's second EP Hello, released on July 28, 2017. The album contains five tracks, including the title track of the same name, besides previous released "Love Don't Hurt" (feat. lil Boi), "Love Don't Hurt" (feat. Amber), along with one new songs and instrument version of the title track. She also made comeback stage on Music Bank in the same day. The music video of "Hello" was released on July 31.

Artist Spotlight: Shannon
Shannon Williams referred to monomously as Shannon or Shannon Williams, is a British-Korean singer and actress based in South Korea. She officially debuted as a solo artist in December 2014 with her digital single, Daybreak Rain.
Shannon was originally trained to be in a girl group as its main vocalist but later her agency changed their plans with announced that she would continue to trained for preparing her debut as a soloist. Shannon released her debut single titled "Daybreak Rain" on 1 December, which charted at number 32 on Gaon digital chart after its release. On 26 December, she released a collaboration single Breath with Vasco and Giriboy. On 5 March 2015, Shannon's first extended play Eighteen with its lead single "Why Why" was released. Shannon starred in the KBS drama Moorim School which was aired on 11 January 2016. From 20 November 2016 to 9 April 2017 she took part in the TV reality show K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance. She competed against other trainees and talented individuals in hopes of scoring a contract that would grant the winner promotions from YG, JYP and Antenna Music. Shannon received high praise for her technical singing ability but was critiqued for her lack of emotion. She was selected into YG's group and sang songs such as "Man in the Mirror", "Who's Your Mama", "Happy", and "Ain't No Other Man". She advanced to the Top 4 (semi-finals) before she was eliminated Shannon released her digital single Love Don't Hurt on June 27, 2017. The single contains two tracks, Korean version featuring Lil' Boi and English version featuring f(x)'s Amber.
