Actor's Spotlight: Jin Xing

Born August 13, 1967 Jin Xing is a Chinese ballerina, modern dancer, choreographer, actress, and owner of the contemporary dance company Shanghai Jin Xing Dance Theatre. She is the host of Chinese television show The Jin Xing Show.She can speak Chinese, English, Korean, Italian and French. Jin was the first transgender woman in China to receive the government's approval to undergo a sex change, and she is also one of the first few transgender women to be officially recognized as a woman by the Chinese government. In 2013, she began her ascent to national fame while serving as a judge on China's first season of So You Think You Can Dance (China). She went viral when she scathingly commented on the show's host's attempt to turn a contestant's injury into a sob story. She commented, "Chinese TV always digs at people's scars, consumes their pain. This is the biggest weakness of Chinese TV and I hate it! I hope that on 'So You Think You Can Dance' we won't use people's pain, we won't use people's sympathy, we won't use people's suffering." Audiences ate up her raw honesty and nine months later she had her own nationally broadcast show.

My Girlfriend's Boyfriend Review

There are tons of Chinese dramas out there but few catch my attention like a recent one has. 
I'm talking about My Girlfriend's Boyfriend a comedy following the life of Ah Zhai a nerd who accidentally creates a robot boyfriend, Adam while drunk. Trying to fix his mistake he gets the Eve an exact robot copy of his dream girl however thing get crazy when Eve falls for Adam. 
What will Ah Zhai do in a household with 2 lovesick robots and a crazy love triangle?

So far I give it a rare 10 out of 10 for acting, effects, and because it's so funny.

  

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan Reveiw

Recently I've been focusing on K-drama and I haven't watched any J-drama . Japan has so many great dramas and films I can't ignore so I'm back to watching J-dramas.



One drama I've fell in love with is Yankee-kun to Megane-chan  the story of Shinagawa Daichi who used to be a star student but became a delinquent and Adachi Hana class president and reformed delinquent ,who tries to correct Shinagawa way.

The drama is as funny as it is touching a must for fans of Yamada kun to 7 nin no Majo.

I give it a 9 out of 10.

Sumika Sumire Review

I recently watched a j-drama that was creative and funny. I'm talking about Sumika Sumire, it's the story of Kisaragi Sumi a 65-year-old single woman Sumi is 65-years-old and still a single woman. When she was younger, she worked at a flower farm and flower shop run by her family. Sumi wanted to go to college, but she had to take care of her grandmother, who got in an accident, and general household affairs. After her grandmother, Sumi also had to take care of her father and mother.  Now she is proud that she worked so hard, but now she wishes she could live a new life and become young again.

One day, Sumi wakes up and finds wish has come true.

I loved this series and I give it an 7-10
